Language and Culture

The geography and geographical position of Fulgazi upazila have played a role in the formation of language and culture of the people of this upazila. This upazila is situated in the south-eastern region of Bangladesh, surrounded by the Tripura state of India, Parasuram, Chagalnaio Feni Sadar Upazila. The main features of the language are similar to that of the other upazilas of Bangladesh, yet some diversity is found. For example, the language of liberation is largely absent, that is, language simplification tendency. Regional language of the district corresponds to the noakhali regional language. Human behavior, eating habits, language, culture are similar to the other regions of the country. Many cultural organizations are working in Phulgazi. Such as Upazilla Nazrul Academy, Fulgazi, Shilpakala Academy etc.
